Bold Brigands pdf on the way!
almost 3 years ago – Fri, Apr 30, 2021 at 03:36:43 PM

Bold Brigands of the Belt is finished and the pdf will be delivered in the next 24 hours! Print versions will have to wait for the printer to deliver the proof, after which we hope to be able to turn them around and get them shipping out of Studio 2’s fulfillment center ASAP.

Thank you to everyone who backed us and those who have been waiting for BBB. The delay has been far too long due to factors outside of our control as well as several places where our process can be sped up, places we are working to correct.

Future projects for Rocket Age are underway, we just accepted the artwork for Arthur’s Guide to Martian Life (Classic and 5e). Blood Red Mars (5e) is up next for layout and proofing, we hope to have it released shortly with Arthur’s Guide to follow.

Next up is Prehistorica (5e), a Play Weird supplement to join Caturday, Surial, and Little Grey Aliens. While we were waiting for Ed’s manuscript we finished all the work and proofed Prehistorica, so when it launches on Kickstarter we can move straight from the campaign to fulfillment with few hiccups.

Bold Brigands of the Belt
over 3 years ago – Mon, Oct 19, 2020 at 09:14:07 AM

Heads up Rangers!

Ed Greenwood just delivered his manuscript for the Bold Brigands of the Belt!

After a quick read through of the manuscript, I have to say you are going to love this episode.

First off, thanks to everyone for being patient with us. We wanted to have this wrapped up sooner but circumstances prevented it. Our next task is to adapt the adventure to Classic, playtest the adventure, send out an art order, edit, layout, proof, and then onto distribution to our backers. All told this can take 1-3 months depending on how quickly we can get the art back and how the proofing process goes.

The good news is adaptaion and playtesting will begin right after I get this batch of cornbread in the oven and check on the chili simmering on the stove.

Quick Update on Rocket Rangers Handbook Print Fulfillment
over 3 years ago – Thu, Aug 27, 2020 at 06:25:16 PM

Just a quick update. The books arrived at the warehouse today, but the order was short several copies. Once the printer has corrected this, the books will be processed and shipped. I will let you know when that happens.

Rocket Ranger's Handbook at the Printer!
over 3 years ago – Thu, Aug 13, 2020 at 10:18:13 PM

Heads up Rangers! After going through the proofing cycle numerous times, we have finally approved Rocket Rangers Handbook in 5e and Classic for printing. The files are at the printer and it should take them 5-6 weeks to get the order done. After that, it is on to the warehouse and out in the post to all of you who ordered a print copy. Once print copies are in people’s hands we will make the Handbook available in POD.

Ed Greenwood keeps plugging away on his adventure, but his health is slowing him down. We are ready to crash into playtesting, editing, layout, and proofing once he is done. Keep in mind that printers and shippers are running behind during the pandemic and that has caused some delays.

In other news, we are nearly ready to playtest Blood Red Mars (5e), plus some new Mars centered content in 5e and Classic. All the existing Mars based adventures will be brought into 5e, and we have more adventures and some things we don’t want to reveal just yet in the works for both systems.

Thanks for the support and the patience,

Ken Spencer
