You should be receiving an email from Drive-Thru RPG with the download link for your complimentary copies. If you do not, please contact us.

We have received word from our fulfillment provider that the hardcopies are being shipped and you should be receiving a message from them early next week.

All of us here at Why Not Games want to thank our backers and supporters for their help in making Rocket Age (5e) happen. 

This is only the beginning of the story. Next week we will be at GenCon in Indianapolis, stop by Studio 2 booth 1929 to see us. Writing is proceeding on the stretch goals and first round playtesting is expected to begin by the end of August. We will also be playtesting the next Weird Races (5e) book, Prehistoricathis fall. As a special thank you to backers we will be offering the opportunity to playtest upcoming products. Our in house playtesters are exhausted from two years of work on Rocket Age (5e); the poor dears can barely lift their arms to roll the dice.

Backerkit Surveys

Backerkit closes at 0001 hours EDT on 7/23. That means you have until midnight to make sure you have completed your Backerkit survey. You must complete the survey to claim a reward, and there are a few who have not yet done so. Once Backerkit closes fulfillment can proceed.

A reminder, the two stretch goals, Bold Brigands of the Belt and Rocket Ranger's Handbook will be sent out in pdf and print later this year as they are completed.

The Books are at the Warehouse!

Rocket Age (5e) is in the warehouse! You need to fill out your backerkit survey to choose your rewards and shipping. Backerkit closes on the 23rd and books will start shipping out after that.

In other news, Ken was on Random Worlds last night to chat about Catopia Prime (Starfinder), Little Grey Aliens (5e), and Non-Stop to Jupiter (Rocket Age Classic).

Little Grey Aliens (5e) is available as an add-on in pdf or print +pdf. Catopia Prime (Starfinder) and Non-Stop to Jupiter (Rocket Age Classic) are both available from Drive-Thru RPG as pdf or pdf+print. All three will be at GenCon this year, Studio 2 booth 1920.

We just received notification that the Rocket Age (5e) corebooks have left the printer and are on the way to the warehouse. They should be there soon and we will let you know when they arrive. Once the backerkit surveys (they are going out over the next 48 hours) are done the process of shipping the books to you will begin.

If you are just getting pdfs you do not need to complete the shipping survey, the electrons will still find you. However, if you are getting print rewards you need to complete the shipping survey so that we know where to send the books.

Everyone needs to complete the backerkit survey to claim their rewards.

The pdf of Rocket Age (5e) and any pdf add-ons will be delivered on Friday, July 26. We are making sure all the linking and bookmarking is correct.

Work has begun on the Rocket Ranger's Handbook, which will go out to everyone backing at the $10 and higher level this fall in pdf, as well as the print add-on options for 5e and the pdf or print+pdf add-ons for Classic. We expect to begin playtesing this material in September and will be offering backers the opportunity to participate.

One more thing, we had a strange visitor in the office that left this, but they wiped our minds so we have no idea who they were:

Pledge manager is ready!

Greetings and  thank you once again for making Rocket Age 5e a successful kickstarter! 

Shipping rates have been added and the pledge manager is ready to go. We will have the pledge manager open until Monday, July 22. BackerKit is our pledge manager software. Be looking for your email over the next 48 hours. Let us know if you do not have it by Saturday, July 13. In the current survey, you will find several add-ons, including Little Grey Aliens 5e, Caturday 5e, and Surial: Bear Folk of the North 5e.

The first survey we sent was from Kickstarter and allowed us to gather shipping locations for the $50 and up levels. We appreciate your patience as we checked shipping rates. We want to make sure our rates are as accurate and affordable as possible. 

We are working hard to ship physical copies and have the PDF of Rocket Age 5e in your hands before GenCon 2019! Ken Spencer and Ed Greenwood are writing for the unlocked stretch goals and we will keep you up to date for delivery of the stretch goal PDFs. 

Speaking of GenCon, Ken Spencer will be at GenCon in Studio 2 row and Why Not Games has a great team of GMs running Rocket Age classic and Rocket Age 5e events! We are also running events for Catopia Prime (Starfinder compatible) and Caturday 5e, Surial: Bear Folk of the North 5e, and Little Grey Aliens 5e. Events are selling out, but there are a few tickets available. We hope to see you there!
